SaaS is a method of software delivery that allows data to be accessed from any device with an internet connection and a web browser. In this web-based model, software vendors host and maintain the servers, databases, and the code that makes up an application.

SaaS stands for Software as a Service or as and when required software also referred to as on-demand software. It is licensing and delivering software application, for internet users. It resides inside the core of the cloud and can be accessed by using an internet browser.

SaaS has the following advantages:

1. Requires less upfront money because it does not require any up-front licensing fees, due to which it requires a less initial cost.

2. Fast installation and configuration as it is installed and configured already.

3. Easy to upgrade therefore releases the stress related to workload as well as hosting applications.

4. Offers more accessibility than standard business application installations.

5.Offers more flexibility to the user
