Well, basically you are right guys. I actually have 2 websites, both of them are mine, and I am not using the XML sitemaps, I only use the HTML ones, as I do consider them way more efficient. Right now, I am working on a new project, this one is really... interesting and it is way more interesting and tougher than the others. I am having some problems with the HTML Sitemaps (https://www.sitecentre.com.au/blog/html-sitemap-vs-xml-sitemap) right now, but I hope I could actually figure that one out, and make everything work properly. In case I would not be able to do that, I will call for some other specialists who could help me out.

Site map (sitemap) is a file in .xml format that contains links to all pages of the site. It is necessary for search engine crawlers to quickly perform crawling and indexing. The XML-map is located in the root directory of the site and is called sitemap.xml.
In addition to the URLs themselves, the sitemap indicates the date of the last modification of each page. Thanks to this parameter, when crawling sitemap.xml, web spiders decide whether to re-crawl each specific page and resubmit it to the index. This information I gathered from Instagram post that was published by account with about 74 thousands of followers! I think this is because its owner repeatly buy instagram followers (https://viplikes.net/buy-instagram-followers) to quickly gain their number.
