A private cloud (https://www.esds.co.in/enlight-private-cloud-hosting) is a computing service that is restricted to a data center and is only accessible within the enterprise/company network. A private cloud could be as simple as deploying storage, network and compute within a datacenter and building services similar to the public cloud around it. Many enterprise customers with deep pockets who have requirements for high performance, security, etc prefer to roll out their own private clouds. Some examples of private cloud vendors include Dell EMC and VMWare. There is also the OpenStack based cloud that used to be quite popular a couple of years ago.
