Hello,
Our work IP PBX has hit its limit on extensions and can't be upgraded. Replacing the unit is a thrilling $20,000. So I'm looking at alternative solutions: VOIP for business, like Vonage's offering, or cloud-hosted PBX (which Fairpoint, the local Phone/ISP offers).
Does anyone have any experience with these setups? Any love stories/horror stories?
FWIW, I'm looking at 75 extensions over 3 locations, and our current local and long distance phone bill is in the neighborhood of $2,000/month. We have the bandwidth to support it; synchronous 20mbps fiber to both locations.
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
