Need server with DDoS protection service at modest rates ...

I need a server (from asvhost.com) with DDoS protection (from ddos-guard.net) and I'd like to know more about these companies - any ideas?

I will stay with kvchosting.net for years I think! No problems so far. They have easy-to-use control panel, great features and easy as heck to setup.
They offer DDos protected servers at good rates.

Try considering hostunmetered.net and their affordable unmetered servers in the UK.
The speed is amazing, very reliable, the support is fantastic (we needed a server reset, they done it within 20 minutes), the price is great!. Can't fault these guys!

Believe Kvchosting.net and their ddos protected servers will serve your needs.
I have found them to be the best host for support, advice, and pricing out of several hosts I have ever seen before.
