Each week, the player can choose one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, or Hard. As the difficulty increases, so does the speed of the incoming arrows, and the arrow patterns become more complicated.
The player can also play in "free play" mode, which ignores the story mode structure and any cutscenes and allows them to play any individual song on their own.
