First time buying hosting - where to start?

Buying hosting for the first time and hostpro.com caught my attention. Is it a safe bet? I'd want daily backups and DDoS protection from the start.

Look to do business with a web host that offers support in various means. Whether it’s a combination of phone and email or phone and live chat.
I am happy with Rightservers.com - The website is convenient, user friendly and most of all they will get you setup up in a web site hosting package that's both affordable and reliable.
