Cloud procurement is an arrangement in which a company pays a third-party cloud hosting provider to provide and support IT services that can be provided internally. Cloud procurement is similar to outsourcing, but the cost of cloud computing services is usually based on a utility model by use, rather than an annual or monthly contract.
