Is AWS a good back-end for reselling hosting?
« on: July 05, 2018, 02:34:12 AM »
Hello,

I see an unserved need in my local community for a service a bit like Flickr, but more like web space hosting (or reselling, rather). I'm a developer by trade, so I can fill this gap, but I'm just doing explorations right now into how to architect the system. I would require storage and bandwidth that can scale dynamically (storage requirements could grow to be high, but I don't expect bandwidth to get that high), and each user should be able to have their own custom domain name for their page. That last part is key. They would administer their private portion of the webspace not through CPanel or Plesk, but with a custom web app that I would develop. Is it possible to set up AWS this way? Or is it better to rent a server somewhere?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
