Want to host an ASP.NET application with SQL Server. The application shall be accessed by over 10k users. Mainly a database oriented application.

If you are in need of a server in particular, NetShop isp is the place to get one. The value for the money can't be beaten. Like their Cyprus dedicated servers.
As long as they stick to their guns on not overselling their servers, I don't think I'll ever be looking for a new web host.
