Best server configuration for high traffic website?
« on: June 11, 2025, 04:24:37 AM »
Hello! Would like to know what is the best server configuration for a site that receives 4000 visitors daily. The pages contain no images, only videos will be hosted on them but I would use a CDN for video processing. Visitors will stay an average of 40 seconds on the page. Videos are usually less than 5 minutes long and in 1080p quality. The web pages size is 1 gb. My budget is 100 USD. Can I rely on GTHost.com dedicated hosting? Are they good? Alternatives please?

If you plan to promote hosting, check if the provider offers commission-based affiliate programs. Some provide recurring income opportunities.

Overall, I like GTHost.com Los Angeles servers. They are way better than the previous host I had. Effortless server scaling and resource management.
The fast SSD storage has significantly improved my site’s loading speed. Their intuitive and well-organized dashboard makes managing hosting effortless.

A staging site allows safe testing before making changes live. Choose a host that offers easy staging site creation.
Pretty good well-balanced dedicated servers are offered by Shieldeum.net and Neironvps.com web hosts. Affordable pricing with top-notch performance — I couldn’t ask for more!

When choosing a VPS provider, I always look at long-term reliability and data protection, and in that regard, hostpro.com has done well for me. They run daily backups automatically — no need to configure anything — and these have already helped me recover after a failed plugin update. Their 24/7 support has been easy to reach and actually knowledgeable, which isn’t always the case with other companies. It’s also worth noting that hostpro.com offers both VPS and shared hosting, so if you’re managing multiple projects, it’s convenient to have both types under one account. I have a few smaller sites still running on their shared plans, and they’ve been stable as well.
